On a small site the four parts of an air system usually arrive separately and are joined together by whoever is free that week. That is where most compressed air problems begin, and it is why the whole system is available here as one item.
From a cabinet that holds everything in under a square metre, through skids and containerised stations, to a compressor built onto a vehicle chassis.

A skid is bolted down and a container is craned. Neither is a building, so when the plant changes the air station goes with it.
Why packaged rather than loose
Because the dryer can be sized on the compressor's actual outlet temperature rather than on a guess, the receiver can be sized to limit starts rather than to fill a corner, and the pipework between them is built in a workshop rather than on your floor.
Because it is tested as a system before it ships. A station commissioned for the first time on site is a station being debugged on site.
And because it is one service visit on one plan, rather than three intervals on three pieces of equipment that were bought in different years.

Choosing between the four
A cabinet where the demand is small and the space is a corner of a workshop. Compressor, dryer, filters and receiver inside one enclosure under a square metre, with one plug and one air outlet.
A skid where you have a building but no plant room, and site labour is slow or expensive. Everything on one steel frame, piped and wired and pressure tested in a workshop, then lifted in and bolted down.
A container where there is no building at all. The container is the plant room, with its own ventilation, lighting, switchgear and fire detection, craned into place and started the same day.
A vehicle where the air has to travel. Compressor and hose reels built into the body, working from the vehicle engine or its own, for crews who cannot stop to set anything up.

常见问题
Is a packaged station more expensive?
The equipment costs a little more and the installation costs a great deal less. On most projects the total is lower and the programme is shorter by weeks.
Skid or container?
A container brings its own building; a skid goes inside yours. If you have a suitable building a skid is cheaper, and if you do not, a container is the only sensible answer.
Can it hold two compressors?
Yes, and on any duty that cannot stop we recommend it. Two machines with sequencing control means a service or a failure does not stop production.
What about the heat?
That is the thing most often underestimated. A 132 kW compressor puts about 132 kW of heat into whatever encloses it, so we size ventilation on rejected heat and your site's summer peak.
How long does installation take?
A day for a container, a little more for a skid that needs connecting into existing pipework. The work that would have been a building is already done.
Can I specify the layout?
Yes. A skid or container is built to a general arrangement drawing you approve before fabrication, including where the connections come out.
Is it tested before it ships?
Yes, pressure tested and function tested as a complete station. A station commissioned for the first time on site is a station being debugged on site.
What is included besides the compressor?
Dryer, filtration, receiver, drains, the electrical panel and the interconnecting pipework. A container adds ventilation, lighting and fire detection.
Can it be moved later?
Yes. A skid is bolted down and a container is craned, so when the plant changes or the project ends the station goes with it.
Does it suit a dusty site?
It is specified for one. Inlet filtration is sized for the dust the site actually has rather than for a standard figure, and that is settled before the order.
