Not every requirement justifies a new machine. A standby unit that runs forty hours a year, a temporary installation or a tight capital budget can all be served by a properly refurbished compressor.
The word that matters is 'properly'. Every used machine we sell is stripped in our own workshop, gets a new airend or a fully inspected one, new bearings, seals, coolers, filters and oil, is run-tested against its original performance figures, and carries a written twelve-month warranty on parts and labour.

What does refurbished actually mean here?
Stripped in our own workshop, airend inspected or exchanged, new bearings, seals, coolers, filters and oil, then run-tested against original performance figures.
What warranty do I get?
Twelve months on parts and labour, in writing, backed by the same service team that looks after our new machines.
How much cheaper is it?
Typically 40 to 55% of new price. Whether that is the right buy depends entirely on how many hours it will run.
When is a used machine a bad idea?
When it will run continuously. Over three years the energy difference against a modern variable-speed machine usually outweighs the purchase saving.
When is it a good idea?
Standby capacity, a temporary or project installation, a seasonal peak, or a genuinely tight capital budget. A machine that runs forty hours a year does not need to be new.
Do I get performance figures?
Yes, the run-test sheet comes with the machine, showing measured flow and power against the original specification rather than a claim.
How quickly can it be delivered?
Stock machines can usually be delivered and commissioned within a week, which is often the real reason customers choose one.
Can I trade in my old machine?
Yes, where it is worth refurbishing. We assess it and offer either a trade-in value or a scrappage against the replacement.
Is it serviced on the same plans?
Yes, identical service plans and intervals to a new machine, with the same parts stocked in country.
