When rental is the right answer
Rental covers three situations: a machine has failed and production cannot wait, a project needs temporary air, or a plant needs extra capacity through a seasonal peak.
Our rental fleet covers portable diesel machines from 185 to 1,600 cfm and electric plant-room units from 22 to 250 kW, with dryers and filtration available as part of the package. Delivery, installation and commissioning are included.
Hire is quoted by the day, the week or the month, and the rate per day falls as the period lengthens. What decides the price is the machine, not the paperwork: size, whether it is diesel or electric, and whether air treatment goes with it. Longer hires are quoted against a fixed monthly figure so the cost can be budgeted rather than estimated.
To quote accurately we need three things: the air demand in cfm or l/s, the working pressure, and how long you need it. If you do not know the demand, tell us what the air is driving and we will size it. Guessing high is the expensive mistake here. An oversized rental machine burns fuel you do not need for the whole hire.

What is included
Delivery, commissioning, scheduled servicing and breakdown cover. You pay the rental and the fuel or the power, and everything else is ours.
That includes getting it going. A rental compressor delivered to a gate and left there is not a rental service, and it is how projects lose their first week.
Dryers, filters and receivers come with it where the duty needs them, because dry air is usually the actual requirement rather than air.

Sizing a rental
To quote properly we need three things. The air demand in cubic feet a minute or litres a second, the working pressure, and how long you need it.
If you do not know the demand, tell us what the air is driving and we will size it. Guessing high is the expensive mistake, because an oversized rental machine burns fuel you do not need for the whole hire.
For a bridging hire while your own machine is repaired, we size against your machine rather than against your demand, which is usually simpler and quicker.

How it is charged
By the period, quoted in advance, with delivery and collection stated separately so nothing appears later.
Long hires are priced differently from short ones, and at some point a purchase becomes cheaper. We show that crossover rather than letting a hire quietly outrun it.
Telemetry lets us bill on actual running hours where that suits you better than a flat period charge.

Frequently asked questions
When does renting make more sense than buying?
For shutdowns, seasonal peaks, project work and while a machine is being repaired. Anything short-term or uncertain is usually cheaper rented.
What is the shortest hire?
One week for most units, and daily for portable compressors during a shutdown. We will tell you when buying becomes the better value.
What is included?
Delivery, commissioning, scheduled servicing and breakdown cover. You pay the rental and the fuel or power. Everything else is ours.
How fast can you deliver?
Usually within 24 hours in our main cities, and same-day for emergencies where a unit is available.
Can I rent oil-free air?
Yes, including dryers and filtration to a specified ISO 8573-1 class. That is what food, pharmaceutical and electronics sites usually need.
What sizes are available?
From small portable units up to several hundred kW, plus dryers, receivers, filters and distribution hose or pipe.
What happens if the rental unit breaks down?
We repair or replace it, and the rental clock stops while it is down. That risk is ours, which is much of the point of renting.
Can rental turn into purchase?
Yes, we offer rent-to-own on many units and credit an agreed proportion of the rental against the purchase price.
Do I need to insure it?
You insure it against damage and theft while on your site. We provide the values and the serial numbers for your policy.
Is it worth renting during our shutdown?
Almost always. A rental unit lets us take the permanent machine fully apart instead of rushing the work around production.
