Warranty

Standard cover, extended options and what actually voids it.

Warranty

Overview

Every new Green Air machine carries twelve months or 2,000 running hours of parts and labour warranty, whichever comes first. Extended cover to five years or 20,000 hours is available where the machine is on a Green Air service plan.

We would rather be clear about what voids a warranty than argue about it later: non-genuine filters and separators, missed service intervals, incorrect oil, and running outside the rated ambient or pressure. Nothing else on that list is a surprise.

Key benefits

12 months as standard

Parts and labour, from commissioning date, on every new machine.

Extendable to 5 years

Available where the machine is maintained on a Green Air service plan.

Airend cover to 10 years

Extended airend warranty on serviced machines running genuine consumables.

Clear exclusions

Published in the manual, not buried. No arguments after a failure.

What is covered

Parts and labour on the machine as supplied, for the stated term, against manufacturing defect. The airend is covered for its own longer term.

Coverage is honoured in every country we trade in, not only where the machine was bought, which matters to customers who move equipment between sites.

A claim is handled by our own engineers rather than by a form. The engineer who attends is the one who decides, so there is no waiting for somebody else to look at photographs.

  • Parts and labour for the stated term
  • Longer separate term on the airend
  • Honoured in every country we trade in
  • Handled by our engineers, not a form
  • Decision made on site where possible
  • Hire machine offered during a long claim
  • Transferable if the machine is sold
  • Extendable at purchase or later

What keeps it valid

Servicing to schedule with genuine consumables. That is the whole of it and it is the same condition every manufacturer applies.

The reason is not commercial. A non genuine separator with a different pressure drop changes how the machine runs, and a failure after that is not a manufacturing defect.

We keep the service record against the serial number, so proving the machine was maintained is our job rather than yours.

  • Serviced to schedule with genuine consumables
  • Record kept by us against the serial number
  • Proof of maintenance is our job, not yours
  • Oil to the tested specification
  • Installation conditions as specified
  • Reasonable use for the duty rating
  • Modifications agreed in advance
  • No paperwork for you to keep

Extending it

Extended cover is available at purchase and afterwards, and it is priced per machine and per year rather than as a package.

It only makes sense where downtime is expensive. On a machine with a spare standing beside it we will say so.

Extended cover requires the machine to be on a service plan, for the same reason the original warranty does.

  • Available at purchase or later
  • Priced per machine per year
  • Requires a service plan to run alongside
  • Honest advice where it is not worth it
  • Covers parts and labour on the same terms
  • Priority response included
  • Transferable with the machine
  • Multi machine pricing available

Frequently asked questions

What does the warranty cover?

Manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship for the stated period. It does not cover wear items, misuse, or damage from the wrong oil or a blocked filter.

How long is it?

Twelve months as standard on new machines, extendable to five years on the airend where the machine stays on our service contract.

What do I have to do to keep it?

Service on schedule, use the specified oil and genuine consumables, and keep the records. Those three things are the whole condition.

Does someone else's service void it?

Not automatically, but you must be able to show what was done, when, and with which parts. Without records a claim is very difficult to defend.

What about parts we buy from you?

Twelve months on the part, and on the labour too where we fitted it. That is written on the invoice.

Is a rebuilt airend covered?

Yes, twelve months, on the same conditions as a new one, correct oil and a kept schedule.

How do I make a claim?

Call us with the serial number and the hours. We attend, diagnose, and if it is a warranty fault we do not invoice you for the visit.

How long does a claim take?

Diagnosis within our normal response time. Parts availability then governs, and we will offer a hire unit if the wait affects production.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the machine?

For the remaining period, yes, provided the service history transfers with it. That history is part of what the machine is worth.

What is excluded?

Consumables, damage from contaminated intake air or incorrect oil, unauthorised modification, and operation outside the rated conditions. We state all of it up front.
