Which machine covers my duty?
Every figure here is a measured row from a model table on this site, to ISO 1217. Nothing is interpolated between them.
How to read the result
- A machine is only listed if it delivers at least the flow you asked for at at least the pressure you asked for. Short on either and it is not an answer, so it is not shown.
- The smallest machine that covers the duty comes first, because over ten years electricity is about three quarters of what a compressor costs and the smallest adequate machine wastes the least of it.
- Add roughly ten to twenty per cent to your measured demand before you size, for leaks and for the tools you will add later. If you do not know your demand we will log it on site for a week and tell you.
- A duty with nothing against it usually needs two machines and a sequencing controller rather than one large one, which is also cheaper to run at part load.
