Post-processing units for high pressure air
Drying and filtration in one package for 40 bar PET blowing air.

Overview
A PET blowing line runs on air at up to 40 bar, and that air has to reach the moulds dry and clean. A post-processing unit puts the drying and the fine filtration for that pressure into one package, instead of separate items assembled on site.
The SZP range covers flows from 1 to 55 Nm³/min at working pressures from 1.0 to 10.0 MPa, so one unit sits behind each high pressure compressor or booster.
Key benefits
Rated for high pressure
Working pressure from 1.0 to 10.0 MPa, the range a 40 bar PET line runs in.
Drying and filtration together
A pressure dew point of 2 to 10 °C and filtration to 0.01 µm from a single unit.
Low pressure loss
No more than 0.02 MPa lost across the unit, so the compressor does not have to make up for the treatment.
Hot inlet accepted
Takes inlet air at up to 80 °C.

Frequently asked questions
Which size do I need?
The one whose flow range covers the delivery of the compressor or booster in front of it. Send us that model and we will confirm the size.
Is it air or water cooled?
Units up to SZP-10/40 are air cooled. From SZP-13/40 upward they can be air or water cooled.
