Vacuum pump service
Repair, parts, oil, contracts, health checks and monitoring.

Overview
We service vacuum pumps of every make, not only our own. Most of the pumps that come through our workshops were supplied by somebody else, and that is fine.
The service range covers everything from a boxed vane kit through to a full system audit with a written report on where the energy and the vacuum are going.

Measured at every visit
Ultimate pressure and pump down recorded so the trend exists before you need it.
Every make, not just ours
The measurement matters more than the badge on the pump.
Exchange for critical duty
A unit held against your site so a failure is a same day swap.
Honest when nothing is needed
Selling unnecessary work is short business on a plant with many pumps.
What we cover
Every pump type in the range and most types we do not supply, because the measurement matters more than the badge on the pump.
Routine work on site, overhauls in the workshop where they can be tested properly, and exchange units where a process cannot wait.
Parts, oils, monitoring, health checks and consultancy, all from the same engineers who service the machines rather than from a separate department.
- Every pump type, including other makes
- Routine work on site
- Overhauls in the workshop with testing
- Exchange units to avoid downtime
- Parts, oils and filters in local stock
- Monitoring and health checks
- Consultancy on systems we did not supply
- Contracts with fixed pricing
How we work
We measure. Ultimate pressure, pump down time, temperature and power, recorded at every visit so the trend exists before anybody needs it.
A vacuum pump rarely fails without warning, so a contract catches the warning and a breakdown call catches the consequence.
And we say when nothing needs doing. Selling work that is not needed is the fastest way to lose a plant that has several pumps.
- Measured at every visit, not inspected
- Trend built before it is needed
- Intervals set by the process
- Written report after every visit
- Honest answer when nothing is needed
- Priority response on a contract
- Exchange held for critical duty
- Fixed price for the term

Frequently asked questions
What does a vacuum service visit include?
Oil and filter change where applicable, inlet and exhaust check, ultimate vacuum measurement, temperature and noise readings, and a written report.
Why measure ultimate vacuum?
Because it is the one number that tells you whether the pump is still doing its job. A pump that runs but cannot reach its rating is already failing.
How often is service due?
Typically every 2,000 to 4,000 hours, adjusted for how wet or dirty the process is. We set the interval from your duty, not a catalogue.
Can you service pumps we bought elsewhere?
Yes, all the major brands. We report what we find honestly regardless of whose badge is on the pump.
Do you work on site or in the workshop?
Routine service on site. Overhauls in the workshop where we can test properly. We say which is needed before we start.
What if the pump is contaminated?
Declare it before we attend. Certain processes need special handling and our technicians are entitled to know what they are opening.
Will you tell us what is coming?
Yes. Trends in vacuum level, temperature and oil condition let us tell you what will need attention next quarter, not just what needed it today.
Can service be planned around production?
Yes, and it should be. Where a pump cannot stop, we schedule around your shutdown or supply a temporary unit.
What records do we get?
A signed sheet per visit and a pump history file, which is what makes warranty claims, audits and resale straightforward.
Is a contract cheaper?
Usually, and it also gets you priority response and stocked parts. We will price both ways so you can compare properly.
