Vacuum pump parts

Overview

The parts that matter in a vacuum pump are cheap and the consequences of the wrong one are not. A non-genuine vane with slightly different carbon composition will wear the housing instead of itself, and turn a two-hundred-dollar job into a new pump.

We hold genuine vanes, seals, bearings, filters and complete service kits in each country office, with kits pre-boxed by pump model so nothing is missed on a service visit.

Key benefits

Boxed service kits

Everything needed for a scheduled service in one part number.

Stocked in country

Held in Lahore, Riyadh, Dubai, Muscat and İstanbul. Not on a six-week lead time.

Genuine specification

Correct carbon grade, correct elastomer, correct clearance. It matters more than the price difference.

Identification help

Send a photograph of the nameplate and we will identify the parts for you.

What we hold

Filters, seals, vanes, tip seals, oils and the scheduled wear items for every pump type we supply, and for most of the ones we do not.

Send a photograph of the nameplate and we will identify the parts, including for other manufacturers. That service is free whether you buy from us or not.

Parts are quoted against the serial number and the process, because two identical pumps on different duties do not take the same items.

  • Filters, seals, vanes and tip seals
  • Oils to the tested specification
  • Parts for other makes identified and supplied
  • Photograph of the nameplate is enough
  • Quoted against serial number and process
  • Held in local stock
  • Call off arrangements for regular usage
  • Delivered with the service visit

Genuine or equivalent

We supply both and we tell you which is which. On some items an equivalent is perfectly sound and on others it is a false economy, and the difference is worth knowing.

Vanes and tip seals are where it matters most. A vane made of the wrong material wears the housing, and then the repair is not the vane.

Oil is the other one. Vacuum pump oil is not engine oil and the vapour pressure of the wrong fluid ruins the ultimate vacuum before anything else goes wrong.

  • Both supplied, clearly labelled
  • Honest advice on where equivalents are sound
  • Vanes and tip seals in the correct material
  • Oil to the correct vapour pressure
  • Wrong oil ruins ultimate vacuum first
  • Specification supplied with every part
  • Warranty on genuine parts
  • Advice given before the order

Keeping stock sensibly

The parts worth holding on site are the ones with long lead times, not the ones used most often. Those two lists are different and people usually stock the wrong one.

We agree the holding with you against how critical the pump is, and we hold the rest so you do not have to.

Where usage is regular a call off means parts arrive with the service visit rather than being ordered after it.

  • Stock the long lead items, not the frequent ones
  • Holding agreed against how critical the pump is
  • We hold the rest so you do not have to
  • Call off for regular usage
  • Delivered with the service visit
  • Usage reviewed annually
  • Held in every country we trade in
  • Annual pricing agreement

Frequently asked questions

Which parts do you stock?

Vanes, seals, bearings, oils, filters, exhaust elements and service kits for the common industrial pumps across the brands we support.

Genuine or equivalent?

Both, clearly labelled, with the price difference stated. On vanes and seals we usually recommend genuine because clearances are unforgiving.

What do you need to identify a part?

The pump serial number. Model alone is not enough, manufacturers change internals mid-series without changing the name on the plate.

How fast can you supply?

Stock items same or next day in our main cities. Non-stock is typically two to four days depending on customs.

Are service kits cheaper?

Yes, and they prevent the classic problem of a technician arriving with everything except one seal.

Why do vanes matter so much?

They are the wear part, and a worn or cracked vane can break up and destroy the rotor and housing behind it. Changing them on schedule is cheap insurance.

Can I fit parts myself?

Filters, oil and exhaust elements yes, with our instructions. Vane and bearing work needs the right tools and clearance measurements.

Do parts carry a warranty?

Twelve months on the part, and on the labour where we fitted it. That is written on the invoice, not implied.

What about obsolete pumps?

We source or manufacture where we can. Where a part genuinely cannot be obtained we tell you early so you can plan a replacement.

Can you hold stock for us?

Yes, a consignment list of critical items on your site, paid for as used and replenished at each service visit.
