Ruggedised, documented and supportable equipment.

Defence

What we supply for this industry

Overview

Defence procurement asks different questions. Not just whether the machine works, but whether it will work in ten years in a place with no supply chain, whether the documentation supports the maintenance regime, and whether the supply chain itself is acceptable.

We supply ruggedised, containerised and transportable air and vacuum systems with the documentation, spares scaling and long-term support arrangements that defence contracts require.

Key benefits

Ruggedised and transportable

Containerised and shock-mounted packages for field deployment.

Documentation to specification

Maintenance manuals, spares scaling lists and provisioning data supplied to contract format.

Long-term support commitment

Parts availability guarantees over the equipment life.

Supply chain transparency

Origin and traceability documentation for procurement compliance.

What the work demands

Reliability and traceability in equal measure. The equipment has to work, and there has to be a record proving it was maintained to the standard required.

Duties vary enormously, from workshop air to high pressure breathing air packages and nitrogen for tyres and struts, and each has a different specification.

Security and confidentiality are part of the service rather than an afterthought. We work to the site's requirements on access, documentation and personnel.

  • High pressure and breathing air packages
  • Nitrogen generation on site
  • Full traceability on parts and work
  • Documentation to the required standard
  • Site security requirements respected
  • Cleared engineers where required
  • Long term parts availability planned
  • Redundancy where the duty demands

Records and traceability

Every part is traceable and every visit is recorded against the equipment rather than against the site, so a record follows a unit that moves.

Certification is reissued after any work that affects it, and copies are issued in whatever form the site's system requires.

We keep the history so proving maintenance is our job rather than yours, which matters most at exactly the moment it is asked for.

  • Parts traceable to source
  • Work recorded against the equipment
  • Records follow relocated equipment
  • Certification reissued after works
  • Copies in the format your system needs
  • History maintained by us
  • Retention periods respected
  • Audit support provided

How we support a site

Planned work to your access arrangements, with engineers briefed on the site requirements before they arrive.

Spares agreed against lead time and obsolescence rather than against usage, because availability over a long service life is the real risk here.

And honest advice on equipment nearing the end of its parts life, given early enough to plan a replacement rather than react to a failure.

  • Work planned to site access arrangements
  • Engineers briefed before arrival
  • Spares agreed against obsolescence risk
  • Long term availability reviewed annually
  • Early warning on end of life equipment
  • Rental and standby available
  • Local support in every market we serve
  • Fixed price agreements

Frequently asked questions

What is different about defence procurement?

The questions are about ten years from now: will it work in a place with no supply chain, does the documentation support the maintenance regime, and is the supply chain itself acceptable.

Can equipment be containerised?

Yes: containerised and shock-mounted packages for field deployment, sized so they can be moved by the transport the unit actually has.

What documentation do you provide?

Maintenance manuals, spares scaling lists and provisioning data to contract format, rather than the commercial manual with a cover sheet.

How long will parts be available?

We give parts availability commitments over the equipment life as part of the contract, because on a fifteen-year platform that is the real question.

Do you provide supply chain traceability?

Yes, origin and traceability documentation for procurement compliance, prepared as part of the tender response rather than afterwards.

What about naval and marine environments?

Salt-air specification, appropriate coatings and material selection. A standard industrial finish does not survive a marine deployment.

Can it run on field power?

Both diesel and electric variants are available, and generator-friendly soft starting matters where the supply is a field generator rather than a grid.

Do you train our technicians?

Yes. Operator and maintainer training is part of the supply, structured so a unit can sustain the equipment without a contractor present.

What lead time should be planned?

Ruggedised and containerised packages are built to order. We issue a dated programme with the proposal so it can be built into the acquisition schedule.

Which applications do you typically support?

Field workshops and maintenance units, naval and marine systems, aircraft ground support and base infrastructure.
